Permission to Be Bold - Granted

You are a business. Whether you’re employed, self-employed, a business owner or investor. You’re in the business of creating what you want and how you want to influence and impact others.

Life is happening right now. We receive 24 hours a day. There are times when we’re leading our day and other times when life experiences are leading us. You inspire others when you’re focused on your vision, setting intentions and living your purpose.

You matter. Whether you’re touching one person or one hundred people with your mission, message and money.

Being bold implies taking actions despite risks, obstacles and opposing forces.

If you want to skyrocket your business success, consider the following habits.

7 Habits of Bold Business Owners

#1 – They stay in alignment with their vision

Visioning is the process of creating a picture in your mind of what you want. This includes all aspects of your life – health, finances, relationship, career and much more.

There is power in defining, declaring, and committing to what you want your life to look like. Your vision is the articulation of your desired future. A clear vision will help set a desired course for your life. Without this direction to guide us, we often fail to acquire the quality of life we want and expect.

#2 – They carve out time to strategize their actions

Once you know what you truly want, it is easier to decide if a potential action will move you closer to or further away from that place.  With clarity of purpose comes the ability to focus your attention and efforts on what you want to achieve with less distraction and doubt. Your chances of succeeding exponentially increase when you’re devoted to what matters most. Taking time to map out a path accelerates your success.

#3 – They are intentional about almost everything

An intention can guide your thoughts, activities, attitude and choices. Setting your intentions takes focus, practice, and consistency. Remember life is a marathon, not a drag race. Pursue the most important things in your life and business.

#4 – They discovered how to smash self-doubt

Self-doubt relates to a feeling of uncertainty or lack of self-confidence. It’s often associated with indecision and hesitation.

Bold business owners take time to learn and implement self-help and self-development techniques that will support them in realizing their dreams.

Recognizing self-doubt and transforming it is a bold move.

#5 – They figured out ways to bust up limiting beliefs

A belief is something you consider to be true. A limiting belief puts a restriction or constraint on what you hold to be true.

Bold business owners challenge themselves to identify and transform anything that keeps them stuck, safe and small.

They have coaches, mentors and guides who help them identify blind spots and challenge them to examine and overcome what holds them back.

#6 – They consciously face their fears

You are extremely powerful. You have untapped potential waiting to be expressed. Fear bumps up against the edge of your potential to provide you with an opportunity to move beyond it.

Fear shows up when an unwanted emotion arises from a belief that someone or something is perceived as a threat or danger that may cause pain.

Bold leaders and business owners expect fear and are willing embrace it for the purpose of transcending it (to be free from it).

#7 – They are fierce servant leaders

Being a fierce leader is a powerful combination. When you’re a fierce servant leader, you add an intensity that is a force to be reckoned with.

Bold business owners exhibit the qualities of servant leaders.

Skip Prichart lists 9 qualities of a servant leaders which are: valuing diverse opinions, cultivating a culture of trust, developing other leaders, helping people with life issues, encouraging, sells instead of tells, thinks you, not me, thinks long-term and acts with humility.

We need BOLD leaders and business owners in the world now more than ever.

Be Bold. Be Brave. Be YOUrself.
